The National Association of Jewelry Appraisers Announces July 10 Seminar

(PRESS RELEASE) REGO PARK, NY — The NAJA announced the second Business Development seminar will be held July 10, 2021. The virtual program will feature four webinars, each developed specifically for gem and jewelry appraisers and prospective appraisers. Each presentation focuses on a key aspect to establishing and succeeding in the appraisal profession. This seminar, The Nuts and Bolts of Service, Marketing and Success is scheduled from 12:00 to 4:00 PM EST (NY).

In announcing this seminar, NAJA Executive Director, Gail Brett Levine stated, “The overwhelming interest in the first seminar, held in May, has inspired the NAJA to organize this equally impressive program.” Appraisers, especially NAJA members, have a strong handle on their professional abilities for performing valuations. However, that doesn’t necessarily mean they understand how to organize or operate the actual business side of their office. That is where the NAJA Business Development seminars come in. “This seminar is specifically designed to provide practical insights about how to grow and run a professional appraisal business,” stated Levine.

Confirmed presenters and topics include: Martin Fuller, GIA GG, MGA, Appraising Beyond Insurance Replacement; Steven Pollack, Esq., Developing Your professional Focus: Appraisals, Insurance law and the Jewelry Appraiser; Jill Burgum, Senior Director of Fine Jewelry for Heritage Auctions and Stuart Robertson, VP Gemworld, Forming Rewarding Relationships—How to Work with Colleagues and Authenticators; Sherlene Bradbury, GIA GG, Vice Chair of Education, NAJA, Working with the Public-Appointments, Travel, Office and $$$$.

Enjoy this webinar-based seminar series in real-time from the comfort of your home or office.

Registrations:

  • NAJA Members: $25 per seminar day.
