This Kansas Jeweler Feels Like The Fairy Godmother of Jewelry

GENERAL MANAGER AND gemologist Robin Lies has been in the jewelry business for 40 years. With three partners, including third-generation goldsmith Nathan Regan, Lies purchased Burnell’s Fine Jewelry and Design in Wichita, KS, when store owner Jerry Burnell retired six years ago. The store specializes in custom design and colored gemstones. “Mr. Burnell pops in and sends us little notes to tell us how proud he is,” she says.
