WJA Announces Free First-Year Memberships for Students

(PRESS RELEASE) The Women’s Jewelry Association announced that it’s offering the first year of student membership free to students during 2018, thanks to a new sponsorship from Gemological Science International (GSI).

Students can contact WJA Membership Coordinator Rachel Jurisz at rachel@womensjewelryassociation.com to sign up. They must provide a proof of enrollment, such as a copy of a current student ID or school bill, in order to receive a promo code and register as a member on the WJA website.

To be eligible, individuals must be enrolled in a jewelry-related education program and must not already be a member of WJA.

Gemological Science International (GSI) is an independent gemological organization that provides gemstone identification & grading services, gemological research, and a broad range of educational programs to all levels of the diamonds, gemstone and jewelry trade. For more information, go to www.gemscience.net.

“GSI is proud to be the first-ever sponsor of all-new student memberships to WJA. It is so important that as an industry, we encourage and cultivate the future leaders of our industry, and it’s a pleasure for GSI to be able to do so in this way,” said Debbie Azar, GSI president and co-founder.

For any questions on the new membership program, contact Jurisz at 212-687-2722.
