There’s no gimmick to the buying power afforded to IJO members. Though the company has evolved since 1971, IJO’s original and current mission is to give its members the strength in numbers that buying as a group affords. That means significant discounts from its vendors, ranging from net to 24 percent, with most averaging between 5-7 percent.

As a member, you can buy from IJO vendors at any time during the year, but its buying conferences offer the best opportunity to see the true range and value of these collections. Held twice a year in beautiful, family-friendly vacation locations, it’s encouraged that members attend at least one conference each year. Though there’s no requirement to do so, IJO makes it easy with its Travel Reward Program. Members pay much less to attend and can earn free airfare, hotel and checks of up to $3,000 based on purchase amounts.

But that’s not all: IJO members also receive a rebate check at each conference they attend, representing 1-3 percent of purchases for an average 1.4 percent of purchases.
