$66M in Jewelry Stolen From Home of Billionaire Heiress

About $66 million in jewelry has gone missing from the London home of Formula 1 heiress Tamara Ecclestone.

The New York Post reports that the jewelry was taken Friday night, allegedly by three burglars who broke into hidden safes in her 57-room home. She had just left on vacation.

Among the items taken were “precious rings, earrings and a $105,000 Cartier bangle Ecclestone received as a wedding present,” according to the Post.

A spokesman for Ecclestone, who is known as a model and TV personality, said she and her family were “well but obviously angry and shaken” by the crime.

Tamara’s father, Bernie Ecclestone, said he assumes the theft was an “inside job” given the high level of security at the house, which is located on Billionaire’s Row. Police are still investigating the case.

The Post reports that after the theft, Tamara Ecclestone, 35, shared a message on Instagram hinting that someone knows more than is being said. She posted Luke 8:17 from the Bible: “For there is nothing hidden that will not be disclosed, and nothing concealed that will not be known or brought out into the open.”
