After Stealing $500K in Jewelry, Burglars Sell it for $2,600 and Brag on Facebook

Now they can Snapchat from their jail cells.

Three burglars accused of robbing more than $500,000 in jewelry from two homes have been caught after they allegedly sold the goods for $2,600 and bragged about it on Facebook, the Sun-Sentinel reports. The article says that the Facebook video shows three people “apparently in a car, taking turns mugging for the camera with one of them repeating “What’s in the bag?”” Predictably, two of them are now in police custody. Police say that they’ve been able to locate most of the stolen jewelry.
