Amipi Launches Campaign to Support Pediatric Palliative Care

(PRESS RELEASE) NEW YORK — Amipi Inc, a renowned jewelry manufacturer, has announced a new campaign in collaboration with the George Mark Children’s House to support pediatric palliative care.

Amipi Inc has pledged to donate 2% from the sales of all jewelry at the JCK show in 2023 (June 2 to June 5) towards funding the Bereavement Program at the George Mark Children’s House. The company invites other individuals and organizations to match funds or make any contribution they can to support the cause. Each donor will receive a custom charity wristband as a token of appreciation and a symbol of support for the George Mark Children’s House and the families it serves.

The campaign aims to raise awareness about the importance of pediatric palliative care and raise funds for the George Mark Children’s House, which provides hospice care and respite care for children with life-threatening illnesses and their families.

The George Mark Children’s House was founded in 2004 by Dr. Kathy Hull and Dr. Barbara Beach, with the aim of providing much-needed hospice care and respite care for children with life-threatening illnesses and their families.

The organization’s unique approach focuses on two critical components of caring for children with life-threatening illnesses: hospice care and respite care. It strives to achieve greater well-being and quality of life for children and their families. They make a substantial difference in the lives of the children and families that they serve, at significantly less cost than that of an acute care hospital facility.

Why them?
The first is hospice care, which focuses on pain management for dying children as well as guidance and bereavement care for their families.

Currently in the United States there are two options for families in these situations: children can die at home with hospice services, which are not always readily available, or they can die in the hospital. Though some hospitals have tried models similar to those of birthing units, with nicer wallpaper and furniture, some families still cannot escape the feeling of a hospital setting.

The second goal for Dr. Hull and Dr. Beach was to offer a form of respite care for families. With a full-time staff, the house will serve as the middle point between home and hospital for children whose families may not have had a break in months or years.

Pediatric palliative care is specialized medical care for people living with a serious illness. The goal is to improve the quality of life for both the child and the family by providing relief from the symptoms and stress of the illness.

A specially-trained team of doctors, nurses, social workers, and others provide palliative care, working together with the child’s other doctors as an extra layer of support. Palliative care is appropriate at any age and at any stage of an illness, and it can be provided along with treatment meant to cure.

Why Us?
Amipi Inc’s decision to support pediatric palliative care is personal, rooted in their own experiences with loss. The company intimately understands what it is to lose a child, having lost one too. Amish Mehta believes that by joining forces with the George Mark Children’s House, they can make a difference and help families in need. The custom charity wristband that donors will receive is a symbol of support for the George Mark Children’s House and the families it serves. By wearing the wristband, donors can show their support for the essential work that the organization is doing and help raise awareness for pediatric palliative care.

Amipi Inc’s campaign to support pediatric palliative care is an excellent example of how businesses can use their resources to make a difference in the world. By supporting a cause that is close to their hearts, Amipi Inc is not only helping children and families in need but also setting an example for other businesses to follow.

In conclusion, Amipi Inc’s collaboration with the George Mark Children’s House is an admirable initiative to support pediatric palliative care. The campaign’s aim to raise awareness and funds for the organization is critical in providing hospice care and respite care for children with life-threatening illnesses and their families. By supporting this cause, Amipi Inc is making a real difference in the lives of families who need it the most.

We invite you to match funds or make any contribution you can to support these children.
