ARIANA GREENBLATT ROCKED nine Chopard rings at the 2024 Golden Globes. She also wore a few diamond necklaces, but she was savvy enough to position her hands so that many of the rings were on display when she posed on the red carpet. It reminded me of how women in 17th- through 19th-century were often painted wearing rings on every finger and looking regal. Greenblatt’s rings were much more modern than the ones we see in old portraiture, and they twinkled with enough diamonds to stand out amid the trend toward necklaces and statement earrings. She also wore them with white shirt and black bottom, which evoked a more contemporary and ultra-chic style as the background for fingers full of cluster and floral compositions, eternity bands, triple eternity bands, a sort of toi et moi ring and a bypass botanical ring.
Wearing multiple diamond rings was a trend among A-listers last awards season, and Greenblatt stole the spotlight for this look at the first red carpet walk of this season. She also gave the rings a youthful appeal that would spark interest among other jewelry enthusiasts of her generation.
All of these styles of rings can also be found in some incarnation from both jewelry designers and manufacturers, and women can choose to wear hands full or a couple on a few of their fingers. It’s a look that’s fun to play with, allowing you to mix and match when on your next jewelry-hunting expedition. My guess is you won’t be able to stop at just one after seeing Greenblatt.
