Bulova and Recording Academy Unveil Special Edition GRAMMY Timepieces

They ‘showcase the precision of both time and music.’

(Press Release) NEW YORK – Bulova and the Recording Academy announced that they are collaborating on four new Special Edition GRAMMY timepieces.

Special Edition GRAMMY timepieces retail for $950 each.

The Special Edition GRAMMY timepieces were among the highlights showcased by Bulova at Baselworld 2017.

The four timepieces, each from the Precisionist collection, incorporate a calendar feature and Bulova’s patented three-prong crystal quartz precisionist movement with a 262kHz vibrational frequency, eight times greater than that of standard watches. Two of the pieces are presented in a matte black IP stainless steel case and mesh bracelet. The two others are showcased in a sophisticated gold-tone stainless steel case and mesh bracelet. Featuring a unique case shape inspired by a snare drum, each of the styles is offered in 38mm and 44mm dial options. Boasting other musical-inspired elements such as guitar and microphone details, the watches feature a beautifully finished black dial with mesh detail and gold-tone accents, along with the smaller versions featuring diamond embellishment. The case back is specially marked with the iconic GRAMMY.

“These new Special Edition watches further showcase the precision of both time and music,” said Jeffrey Cohen, president of Bulova. “Through our new product offering, Bulova and the Recording Academy continue to celebrate the art and history of music as well as musical instruments.”

“Our partnership with Bulova has been a natural one for both brands,” said Evan Greene, chief marketing officer of The Recording Academy. “With the new GRAMMY Special Edition timepieces, we can further display our appreciation for music and the historical significance of music.”

All Special Edition GRAMMY timepieces are available for purchase at Bulova.com and retail for $950.
