(PRESS RELEASE) Earlier this year, Citizen Watch America announced the Big Hearts, Little Hands initiative, dedicating a portion of online sales from Citizen and Bulova watches to Jewelers for Children, an organization founded by the U.S. jewelry industry with the mission of helping children in need.
“Citizen Watch America continues to be a proud supporter of Jewelers for Children,” says Jeffrey Cohen, president of Citizen Watch America. “We are thrilled to announce this contribution in support of the organization and to give back to the children and families.” From April 1st through June 30th, Citizen Watch America donated 10% of proceeds from each Citizen and Bulova watch sale made on their respective e-commerce websites. As a result of the initiative, Citizen Watch America was able to donate a total of $100,000, that will help children in need and their families by supporting trusted non-profits like St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Make-A-Wish America, Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, National CASA Association and more.
