(PRESS RELEASE) This past weekend, Contemporary Jewelry Design Group (CJDG) member Theresa Kaz experienced every homeowner’s nightmare. Her home caught fire and burned down. She and her family lost everything they owned.
When CJDG asked Theresa what the organization could do to help her and her family, Theresa said that she and her family will be fine; they have support from other family and friends and their community.
Theresa suggested that in lieu of donations to her and her family, that people donate to a fund that will be used to reward, in some small way, the all-volunteer Paramus Fire Department. She is so grateful to the fire department and she would love to be able to express that gratitude.
The volunteers of the Paramus Fire Department tried in vain to save her house and even tried to rescue her dog that they thought was in the house (the dog was with Theresa who was not at home at the time).
CJDG has set up a GoFundMe page to accept donations that will express its gratitude to the fire department.
