Costco Sells $400,000 Ring

Costco reports that it sold a $400,000 ring in its most recent quarter as revenue climbed 7.4% to $34.74 billion.

The retailer didn’t specify which ring it was, CNBC reports.

The only ring on its website in that price range is described as a “Round Brilliant 10.03 carat VS1 Clarity, I Color Diamond Platinum Solitaire Ring.”

Costco’s website lists nearly 500 rings for sale.

Apart from the highest-dollar piece, several other rings are priced at more than $50,000.

Costco has been pushing its bridal business for several years, selling products ranging from rings to invitations to cakes.
