(Press Release) NEW YORK, NY — Fine jewelry designer and entrepreneur Dana Bronfman was honored with Fashion Group International’s much-celebrated Rising Star Award for Fine Jewelry. The award was presented by Executive Accessories Editor Amanda Weiner Alagem of Harper’s Bazaar, and the star-studded event included a keynote speech by Whoopi Goldberg. Industry heavyweights including designer Prabal Gurung, New York Fashion Week founder Fern Mallis and entrepreneur and philanthropist Aerin Lauder were in attendance.
“I am thrilled beyond my wildest dreams to be recognized in front of my peers at FGI’s Rising Star Awards. I would like to thank Margaret Hayes and the entire Fashion Group International organization for their support,” Bronfman said. Additional awards were presented at the luncheon for beauty, womenswear, menswear, retail and home furnishing.
This award came as Dana Bronfman Fine Jewelry launched her latest, one-of-a-kind pieces titled “Otherworldly Elements” at JCK Tucson, as a part of her signature Oculus collection. The designs are indicative of the brand’s quietly-bold nature and signature pierced gold and diamond elements, but infused with red-carpet worthy style. The pieces feature unique stones including rutilated quartz, grey and raw rose cut diamonds, and dome-shape chyrsocolla.
Dana Bronfman Fine Jewelry will be on display at a Paris Fashion Week pop-up shop in Le Marais from March 1-8, with appointments available for both buyers and consumers alike from March 4-8. The brand will be participating in Metal & Smith’s #notatradeshow on May 8, and is available by appointment at the new showroom space in Midtown Manhattan.
