Editor’s Note: See You in the Windy City

The epic eighth installment
of
our trade show starts April 17

This article originally appeared in the April 2016 edition of INSTORE.

Welcome, welcome, to our jeweler friends
coming to the SMART Jewelry Show, being
held at Chicago’s Navy Pier from Sunday,
April 17 to Tuesday, April 19 (with a full day
of pre-show education on Saturday, April
16)

This year, we’ve got another exciting mix
of events designed to inspire you and boost
your business.

Show associate director Cindy Chandler
has stuffed this year’s education program
with useful and inspiring seminars,
including key sessions from business guru
Benjamin Smithee, sales trainer Shane
Decker and bridal expert Alan Berg. Of
course, we’ve brought in another group of
America’s Coolest Stores winners to share
success secrets with show attendees. These
sessions are always among my favorites
for their ability to provide specific actions
for future growth as well as inspiring the
energy to execute those actions.

You’ll also participate in fun activities
like our epic Sunday night party at the Navy
Pier ballroom (get your dancing shoes on!)
as well as, for a lucky few, a special private
guided tour of Chicago’s Field Museum and
its Grainger Hall of Gems

And last but certainly not least (it’s why
we are all here, after all!), you’ll find our
show aisles filled with loads of top-notch
shopping opportunities from hundreds of
vendors covering every product category

It’s hard to believe that our Chicago
event is about to celebrate its eighth
birthday. It seemed like yesterday that we
launched on this crazy little adventure.
Sincere thanks to everyone out there who
has supported our innovative trade show
since its inception. See you all in Chicago!

Wishing you the very best business,

DAVID SQUIRES
