(Press Release)
NEW YORK, NY – Frederick Goldman Inc., one of the largest manufacturers and distributors of fine jewelry in North America, announces the hire of Merritt Mayher to the senior management team as chief merchandising officer.

Mayher comes to Frederick Goldman with an impressive background in merchandising and product development. Most recently, she worked at the Birks Group as part of its senior management team, where she was the VP of merchandising and merchandise planning. Earlier in her career, she spent 11 years at Tiffany & Co. as VP of merchandising, leading the category management group in which she was responsible for worldwide assortment planning.

In her new position, Mayher will provide overall strategy, leadership and direction for the merchandising organization of the company, overseeing all brand merchandising for national accounts and the independent channel, and will also direct merchandising for the Frederick Goldman Luxury Group (Scott Kay and Karl Lagerfeld).
