Grammy Performers to Receive Cuff Bracelets Made by Single Mom

 

A creative outlet turns into a big break.

Margaux Jones, a single mother living in Seattle who began making jewelry as an after-work hobby, has been asked to contribute her creations to the Grammy Awards, MyNorthwest.com writes. According to the article, Jones is in the process of crafting 150 cuff bracelets featuring her drawings and designs that will be included in the gift bags given to all the Grammy performers, nominees and presenters. She hopes that this catalyzes her jewelry brand, NW 58th St., so that she can quit her day job someday. “When you’re on the right path, when you’re doing the thing you’re supposed to do in life, it will happen for you. It may not happen right away, but it’s happening now, and you [just have to be] patient. I’m in awe!,” she says.
