Hallmark Jewelry Joins Industry Efforts to Aid Children in Need

(Press Release)
KANSAS CITY – Hallmark Jewelry has announced its sponsorship of the first-ever Facets of Hope after-party benefiting Jewelers for Children. The event will be held June 5 immediately following the annual Jewelers for Children Facets of Hope gala in the South Seas Ballroom at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas.

Established in 1999 by the U.S. jewelry industry, Jewelers for Children has donated more than $50 million to programs benefiting children whose lives have been affected by illness, abuse or neglect.

Tickets for the Hallmark-sponsored after-party are available at the door for $125. An open bar; whiskey tasting; pastry, dessert and coffee stations; a photo booth; a live jazz band and a made-to-order ice cream bar are among the festivities included in the ticket price. Proceeds from the after-party event will go directly to Jewelers for Children to aid in these efforts.

“Hallmark Jewelry is pleased to support Jewelers for Children and their mission to aid children in need,” says Katy Briggs, jewelry category manager of Hallmark brand licensing. “Thousands of children have been helped through this organization and their charity partners. We are honored to join them in this important endeavor.”

To mark its official entry into the fine jewelry industry, Hallmark Jewelry will have a presence at JCK Las Vegas, scheduled for June 3-6. Plans are in place to expand distribution with additional launches later this year across multiple shopping platforms.

“This has been an exciting time for Hallmark Jewelry, marked by successful program tests and rollouts to our initial distribution via authorized Hallmark Jewelry retailers,” says Briggs. “Hallmark Jewelry is passionate about creating and sharing heartfelt jewelry that helps people tell their story and celebrate their relationships. The brand’s deep understanding of emotional connections is highly relevant to jewelry shoppers.”

Hallmark Jewelry and Hallmark Diamonds can be found at retailers like JCPenney, under the Heart of Hallmark Collection, and Amazon, where Hallmark has a fine jewelry brand shop. Hallmark’s licensed partners in fine jewelry include Colorcraft, Jacmel and Verigold. Collections will be available to preview at the JCK Las Vegas booths of each of the Hallmark Jewelry manufacturers. Offerings include diamond and gemstone designs set in precious metals.
