It’s expanding this month.
Haksnet, a mobile app providing a way to source and sell jewelry, watches, gemstones and diamonds, is set to expand its services to vetted businesses in major U.S. markets this month.
The standalone application allows businesses to plug in information and current merchandise to match with prospective buyers. There are also social channels — both forum and chat features — that allow any seller to correspond with a buyer or another seller.
It was created as a business-to-business application to help alleviate the common problem of finding matching buyers and sellers within the jewelry and diamond industries.
“Haksnet was created by insiders with decades of experience of the chaos that can come through trying to sell on today’s social media channels, or other avenues that have no tracking or accountability,” according to a press release.
The application is divided into five sections:
- Forum: Lists the most recently uploaded or updated items, complete with price and item cataloging information.
- Search: Allows any user to search for a business or item. Filters allow for a more refined search.
- Share: Feature that allows you to post any new items you have for sale, complete with price and description.
- Chat: Turn your search into a conversation with businesses.
- Profile: Keep your company’s information up-to-date, including address and contact information.
Haksnet will begin taking sign-ups from businesses from across the U.S. and is “looking to disrupt the industry with technology made for and by real sellers,” according to the release. The app is available for all iOS and Android devices and is free to download and register.
Haksnet was launched in 2016 in Chicago by David Hakimi of Hakimi Gem Imports Inc.
