Jewelry Show Returns With New Name

It will run Feb. 1-4.

(Press Release) MIAMI BEACH, FL – On the strength of a successful show in Miami Beach, the Palm Beach Show Group announced its 2018 dates and a name change for the Miami Beach Jewelry & Antiques Show. Highlighting the prominent focus of jewelry on offer at the show, the event will return as the Miami Beach Jewelry & Watch Show. It will run Feb. 1-4, 2018.

The name change from the Miami Beach Jewelry & Antiques Show to the Miami Beach Jewelry & Watch Show will more accurately reflect the jewelry and watch dealers represented at the show. Participating dealer input and market trends contributed to the change.
Show director Andrea Canady said several factors were considered in the decision to change the name of the show.

“The jewelry market is strong and getting stronger; the demand by collectors for quality luxury accessories from all categories can’t be ignored,” Canady said. “The presence of jewelry at the Miami Beach Show is unparalleled with an emphasis on antique and estate jewelry, especially the periods of art deco, retro and art nouveau as well as signed pieces. The number of exhibitors currently participating in the show that deal in rare jewelry and timepieces rivals all shows in the South Florida region. We want the name of the show to specifically denote the inclusion of jewelry and watches which will allow us to better focus marketing and promotion efforts to strengthen our position as the premiere destination for fine jewelry and watch buyers and collectors.”

At the 2018 show, collectors and dealers can expect a Palm Beach Show Group experience like that of the New York City Jewelry & Watch Show – a selection of the world’s top jewelers specializing and showcasing a mix of antique and estate jewelry, vintage pieces, modern collections and fabulous watches unmatched in any other show in the country.

“I foresee the Miami Beach Show becoming an iconic event in the industry,” said Scott Diament, president and CEO of the Palm Beach Show Group. “We believe this event cultivates an ideal atmosphere for both jewelry retailers and the general public, offering them the opportunity to purchase from many of the industry’s most reputable jewelry dealers. Our intent is to attract even more collectors, jewelry buyers, watch dealers and industry professionals.”

The Miami Beach Jewelry & Watch Show is produced by the Palm Beach Show Group, whose portfolio of events includes multiple other shows across the U.S.

The Miami Beach Jewelry & Watch Show will return to the Deauville Beach Resort for its second annual presentation.
