A third location is planned for 2017.
Luxury brand John Hardy announced it will enter owned retail in the U.S. with the launch of its Houston boutique this September, to be followed by its New York City brand flagship in November. The company also plans to open another location in a third market in early 2017.
“The retail stores will really be a distinctive 3-D articulation of the brand’s powerful design, dramatic detail and inspiring meaning,” says John Hardy CEO Robert Hanson. “We also firmly believe that these boutiques will have a positive impact on the sales performance and productivity of our national and independent partners in the wholesale channel because they will increase brand awareness and engagement.”
The Houston boutique will be located in the River Oaks District in a 1,000-square-foot corner location. It is scheduled to open this September. The boutique in New York City will be located in the heart of SoHo’s luxury corridor at 118 Prince St. in a landmark preservation three-story building from the early 1900s. The 1,200-square-foot space will open this November.
