Judge the Jewels: Charlize Theron Serves Sleek Shimmer at Oscars in Layered Boucheron

The sighting: Actress Charlize Theron wasn’t nominated for anything at this year’s Oscars, but I strongly believe that she was one of the top contenders for best jewelry at the 2024 Academy Awards.

The jewels: Charlize Theron’s jewels of the night are by Boucheron, all white gold with diamonds from the Quatre Radiant Edition collection. According to Town & Country, the actress is wearing the newest Quatre Radiant styles, new pieces that have never been seen on a red carpet before.

She is wearing quite a few jewels: a wide choker, a clavicle-length necklace, long earrings, an ear cuff, either two or three bracelets, and at least two diamond rings.

I couldn’t identify every piece, but Theron appears to be wearing the Boucheron Quatre Radiant Edition Pendant Earrings (listed online for $84,900) and also the Quatre Radiant Edition Necklace (listed online for $253,000), which is the second, longer necklace.

I must admit that I initially thought Theron’s jewels had ruby accents, which delighted me! But I eventually realized that the color I saw was simply reflected red from the red carpet. Disappointing, but this look is still incredible.

The trends: Theron defied red carpet trends by bejeweling all possible areas (ears, neck, fingers, and wrists). Most stars this season are choosing to adorn only one or two of the major jewelry-wearing locations, but she went for everywhere…which is exactly why I love this look.
There were also several cool moments of necklace layering at the 2024 Oscars – Emily Blunt was the most notable layered look other than Charlize Theron.

What do we think? You know that I’m a big fan of unrestrained glamour on the red carpet. I strongly believe that celebs should save their subtle sparkle for their daily lives, not the Oscars.

It’s the width and texture of these Boucheron Quatre Radiant Edition styles that makes them so special. There’s also something about how these flat, ribbon-like styles take up space on the body that makes them look extra cool when layered like this. All that sleek shine in supple swaths of sparkle close to the skin reads as much more creative and interesting than most of the night’s jewelry looks.

All in all, a very eye-catching effect and I am extremely into it.

Judgement: 100/10 for a stunning, creative, and glamorous look!
