Judge the Jewels: Sydney Sweeney Wore Pretty Pink Rings to Accept Her Award as MTV’s Icon of a Generation

The sighting: Euphoria and White Lotus actress Sydney Sweeny, Gen Z icon and hugely popular young starlet, wore custom Miu Miu and an array of rings to accept her recent MTV award. Let’s take a look!

The jewels: The actress’s main jewelry for the evening is all on her fingers, an assortment of pretty pink rings. According to Instagram tags by her stylist and the brands involved, Sweeney’s all-diamond ring was by Anita Ko Jewelry, the pink ombré bands were by Levian Jewelry, and the heart shaped solitaire and purple eternity band are by Candy Ice Jewelry.

Sweeney paired her pink rings with diamond earrings by Anita Ko. The earrings appear to be dainty, dangly arrangements of diamonds, although they’re difficult to see in the actress’s hair.

The trends: Pink jewelry was already trending, as are multiple statement rings, and that was before this extremely popular star wore this look for a very public occasion. The award Sweeney received in this outfit is called the “Icon of a Generation” award. The youths love her so much that everything she wears is trend-worthy.
Another popular trend on display here is subtle red carpet jewelry, which I would like to note is a bummer for me personally. It’s a beautiful look, but I do prefer it when celebs go all out on the red carpet gems.

What do we think? This is lovely, youthful, and fun – all extremely appropriate elements for an MTV Awards outfit, especially since this event’s vibe tends to lean more towards hip after-hours club than black tie gala.

I prefer to see a little more bling on red carpets, especially for celebrities who know they’re going to have a big night, but this look definitely suits both the occasion and Sweeney’s style.

Judgement: 9/10 for a lovely jewelry look that I wish had been dialed up just a little.
