KERRY WASHINGTON’S STYLISTS Rob Zangardi and Mariel Haenn worked with the Scandal actress to show her range and experimental nature while attending the 2024 Tribeca Film Festival. Throughout the festival she wore jewelry from various leading independent designers, including FounDrae, Suzanne Kalan and Marie Lichtenberg.
To host a talk on the opening day of the festival, Washington sported a brown leather waistcoat and baggy trousers by Alberta Ferretti and wore symbolic necklaces by FoundDrae, featuring designer/creative director Beth Hutchens’ Elements chain with Internal Compass pendant in 18K gold and diamonds. On FoundRae’s website, the description reads, “The day unveils itself just as life unfolds for us. As the sun rises, the light shines, reinforcing the knowledge that only we can decide what path and which pursuits will bring us to that place inside of boundless energy, expansive joy and limitless freedom.”
Below the medallion hung a smaller Reverie medallion in 18K gold with a butterfly motif representing “the path to joy.”
On the red carpet for The Knife premiere, Washington wore a sleeveless Sportmax Fall 2024 red dress of shiny square appliques With this futuristic ankle length number she wore a wide Suzanne Kalan Classic Diamond Full Baguette cuff. On her finger she went symbolic again with Marie Lichtenberg’s protective Evil Eye Purple Ring in 18K gold with diamond surround, enamel and center marquise cut sapphire.

She was one of the best-dressed attendees at the film festival, and her jewelry was spot on with current trends. And I am thrilled that she wore visionary independent women designer pieces.
