Neil Lane Admits It’s “Painful” When His Celebrity Clients Break Up

Hits him right in the feels.

Neil Lane, a go-to engagement ring designer for Hollywood A-listers, recently spoke with Racked and named some of his favorite ring designs over the years. The fashion website also asked him how it feels when his celebrity clients for whom he’s designed a ring decide to split up. His response:

“It’s always a bit painful, though not in a personal way. I make the rings with a lot of hope and a lot of love, and you want things to work out, but sometimes it doesn’t. They always love their rings, though! [Laughs] I also have the unique opportunity to work with people at the moment when they’re more in love than ever, and that’s amazing.”
