Renowned for its early innovations in the field of luminescence with the Radiomir and Luminor collections, Panerai’s rich historical background inspired the PAM01800. Drawing from its tradition of supplying the Italian Navy with precision instruments, the technology behind Elux was patented in 1966 and played a significant role in creating an efficient light source for low-lighting conditions.
This innovative timepiece is the first ever to feature a four-patent system, 50 bar water resistance, and a 30-minute PowerLight function, which was precisely engineered with a microgenerator to convert mechanical energy into electricity – all encapsulated in a 49mm case diameter. Complementing its intricate inner workings, PAM01800 is set in a striking blue color Ti-Ceramitech™ case, which is crafted from ceramized titanium for a case that is 44% lighter than steel and that can withstand high pressure and high thermal stress.
