began my equestrian adventure in the Girl Scouts but didn’t realize my passion until adulthood. To celebrate my 40th birthday, two friends and I decided to do an inn-to-inn ride. That was 16 years ago and I haven’t stopped riding since.

I find the focus needed for riding is both different and yet the same as the focus needed for jewelry. Each helps maintain a balance for me. Both engage my mind and heart — it is humbling to be part of my customers’ milestones and equally humbling to be allowed to partner with an independent, intelligent, thinking animal. The trust is unconditional in both directions and horses are incredibly forgiving. Plus riding is a lot cheaper and more effective than therapy!
