The president of Pandora Americas is stepping down.
Scott Burger will leave in February “to dedicate himself to new endeavours,” according to a press release. He’s been with the company for 10 years.
Pandora CEO Anders Colding Friis will serve as interim president for Pandora Americas.
The search for a permanent successor has begun and is expected to be completed in the second quarter, according to the release.
Additionally, Peter Vekslund, chief financial officer and member of executive mangement of Copenhagen-based Pandora A/S, is also resigning, according to the release.
Anders Boyer has been named as the new CFO and member of executive management of Pandora A/S. Boyer has been a member of the board of directors of the company since 2012. He’ll resign from the board of directors in connection with the annual general meeting on March 14.
Boyer is expected to take on the role by Aug. 1. Vekslund “will stay fully committed to the company” until then, according to the release.
Vekslund said: “I am proud of my contributions to build a solid backbone in this relatively young and fast growing company. It has been an exciting journey of growth and PANDORA is a great company. However, together with my family, I have decided that it is time to start a new chapter in my professional life.”
