Registration Opens for Jewelers of America’s Virtual National Convention

(PRESS RELEASE) NEW YORK — Jewelers of America (JA), the national trade association for businesses serving the fine jewelry marketplace, announced that registration has opened for its third annual Jewelers of America National Convention, an education-focused executive forum open to jewelry professionals, that will be held virtually on July 19 and 20, 2021. The Convention — with the theme “Coming into Focus” — is free for all Jewelers of America Members to attend and will feature many sessions designed to offer education for everyone in the jewelry, gem and watch industry.

“COVID-19 is keeping us from coming together under one roof, however that won’t stop us from uniting the entire industry for two great days of interaction, education and networking,” says David J. Bonaparte, JA president & CEO. “With the crisis mode in the rearview mirror, we are helping the industry focus on the parts of their business that will help them succeed long-term. Success is ‘coming into focus’ and education empowers us to see things more clearly.”

The Jewelers of America Virtual National Convention will kick off with a keynote presentation by Marilyn Sherman titled “Back to the New Future: Front-Row Strategies for Success.” In her live keynote session, nationally renowned speaker Marilyn Sherman will motivate you to take charge of your career and personal life by focusing on what is right in the world and what you can do to make a difference. Marilyn will share stories to ignite passion for what you do, offer strategies to take success to the next level and teach attendees how to focus on energy management, not time management.

In addition to Marilyn Sherman, there will be three additional keynote presentations as well as many breakout sessions to choose from.

“With three great sessions to choose from during each breakout session, we encourage employers to get multiple staff members registered so the entire company can get involved, empowered and be part of the company’s success,” added Bonaparte. “We are very thankful for the support from our partners at Synchrony, De Beers Group, Gemological institute of America, Jewelers Mutual Group and National Jeweler.”

Jewelers of America is celebrating its 115th anniversary this year. To honor the milestone, JA will be providing “Experience Boxes” to the first 115 guests to register for the convention (limit of two per company). The boxes contain treats, tea and other goodies that will make the Virtual National Convention experience even more rewarding.

Jewelers of America’s Virtual National Convention is open to employees of JA Member companies. If your business is not a member of Jewelers of America, we are offering a free JA Membership through December 31, 2021 for qualified companies when you register for the National Convention.
