CONTEST WITH A KAY

Scott Kay and the Fashion Institute of Technology are partnering to launch a contest open to second-year jewelry design students. The challenge is to design a set of bridal jewelry that includes three pieces from a set of four — ring, bracelet, necklace and/or earrings. Entrants must develop and present drawings, measurement details, materials and color options using the brand’s original design codes. The winner will receive $3,000, a trip to Las Vegas for the JCK/LUXURY shows and the chance to negotiate a separate agreement with Scott Kay to produce and sell the winner’s design.  scottkay.com
