‘Social Selling’ Company Ventures Into Finer Jewelry

Its new line includes a half-dozen 14-karat gold necklaces.

Stella & Dot, a San Francisco-based company focused on social selling, is venturing into fine jewelry with a line called Covet. Covet consists of a half-dozen 14-karat gold necklaces selling at retail for less than $300. The pieces include white and black diamonds. The collection, set to launch online Sept. 8, also includes leather goods. Stella & Dot explains on its website that it “creates flexible entrepreneurial opportunities for women,” with its sellers holding in-home trunk shows.

Our new fine jewelry and leather goods collection, COVET by Stella & Dot, launches in one week! Connect with your Personal Stylist to make sure you secure one of the hotly anticipated 14k and diamond necklaces before they launch on 9/8. #icovet
