Some Companies Now Selling Apple Watches to Employees for $25

The discount comes through a wellness-incentive program.

A handful of companies have begun selling Apple Watches to their employees for $25, Fortune writes, citing The Wall Street Journal. The WSJ report says that’s the deal offered by some companies who have joined a wellness-incentive program from health services firm Vitality Group, the goal of which is to motivate workers to exercise and be healthier, thus avoiding health complications and saving the companies money on insurance premiums. But as with every deal that seems too good to be true, there’s a catch: Employees must either meet monthly health goals or pay full price for the watch.
