Steve Jobs’ ‘Heavily Worn’ Seiko Watch from Vintage Photo Sells for $42,000

You probably saw the old photo appear on a Time magazine cover after his death.

A number of fashion items from late Apple CEO Steve Jobs were recently sold at auction, including a Seiko watch described by the auction house as being “heavily worn,” CNET writes. The article says Jobs wore the watch in a 1984 photo that Time magazine used for its cover of a special commemorative issue after he died of cancer in 2011. Other items sold include a pair of his Birkenstock sandals ($2,750) and one of his signature black turtlenecks with the Next logo on the front ($7,500).
