Wearing This Jewelry Will Help You Fight Anxiety

The designer calls it the “Cure for the Itch” collection.

Inspired by her own anxiety, British designer Charlotte Garnett developed a new jewelry concept aimed at stymying anxiety-driven behavior like habitual fiddling, chain smoking and nervous twitching, The Mighty explains. Her “Cure for the Itch” collection is comprised of three sub-collections, each of which targets specific behaviors, the report says. “The pieces are intended to be used as grounding tools to promote mindfulness and provide subtle alternatives to existing negative habits (such as your nail biting!) whilst maintaining a sense of fun and playfulness in their use,” Garnett wrote in an email to The Mighty.

Spinner rings from Charlotte Garnett aim to help wearers reduce their nervous tics.
