Woman Goes 10 Days Without Realizing the Cleaning Maid Swiped $19K in Jewelry from Her

You probably didn’t need another reason to allow a stranger to walk around unsupervised in your home, but here’s one for good measure. According to Lehigh Valley Live, Tabitha Marsh was sent to prison after she admitted to stealing $19,200 in jewelry from a client’s bedroom while cleaning her house. The report says that Marsh turned around and pawned the whole lot for $425 on Dec. 7 before the client, 10 days later, reported the missing goods, including a gold diamond engagement ring valued at $10,000. The report doesn’t say if the jewelry was recovered.
