Would-Be Robber Shot After Gunfire Erupts at California Jewelry Store

Wounded, he then made his getaway in a black Jaguar.

Gunfire was exchanged at Albert’s Jewelers in Thousand Oaks, CA when a man attempted to rob the store but was chased away after an employee shot him, KTLA reports. The article says the would-be thief also fired, but neither of the three employees inside were shot. In the video below, a witness who works in a neighboring hair salon says she saw the man run out of the store and then fall over – presumably because he was wounded – before he “hopped into a black Jag and took off.” Authorities are reviewing the surveillance video.
