$350,000 in Jewelry Allegedly Stolen from Trump Tower

Police are investigating the alleged thefts of over $350,000 in jewelry from homes in New York’s Trump Tower, where President Trump also lives when he’s in the Big Apple.

The jewelry went missing from two apartments, the New York Post reports.

Authorities suspect the thefts were “inside jobs.” They’re making lists of everyone who could have entered the premises, including building workers, cleaners and contractors.

One of the victims “told cops she found five gem-encrusted accessories missing from a drawer in her closet,” according to the Post.

The jewelry was worth $236,000. One of the items was a Harry Winston diamond bracelet.

In the other case, the victim was Isabelle Bscher, an art dealer. The missing item is a Graff diamond bracelet valued at $117,000.

Police aren’t sure whether the same person may have carried out both thefts. The apartments did not appear to have been broken into.
