Just Necking

From diamond collars and chokers to vintage or vintage-inspired feminine floral and bow confections to those that dip down to reveal a huge 100-plus carat natural colored diamonds or sapphire and other gemstone rocks, necklaces stole the spotlight at many of the awards shows this season as well as the Met Gala and the Cannes Film Festival. These statement necklaces were outshone by ultra-long chandelier earrings in the past but returned this season with eye-arresting styles from renowned houses and jewelers. For us real girls, these necklaces have been translated into elegant yet more toned down looks with smaller diamonds, yet still a whole lot of glamorous attitude.
