The convention is an opportunity to not just broaden your knowledge of horology, but also to create relationships and make new connections with other colleagues in your field.

The AWCI Convention is highly anticipated by many in the industry, including Horology Society of New York President Nicholas Manousos.

“Every year, I look forward to the national convention,” he said. “It is an incredible opportunity to learn, socialize, and network with fellow watch and clock makers from around the country. I leave the convention motivated and excited about the future of our industry.”

Two other groups will also be joining AWCI in Tampa as well, as the NAWCC will be holding an Atmos Clock Repair Course Oct. 2-4 that will be taught by Jeff Hamilton, CMC, and the Chronometer Club will have Ernie Tope, CMW21, present on Oct. 4 on Chronometer Watches and the use of CAD-CAM & CNC for Watch Repair.
