(PRESS RELEASE) RESTON, VA – The American Society of Appraisers (ASA) will host a free webinar entitled COVID-19: Practical Aspects of Personal Property Appraisal on Thursday, April 23 from 1:00-3:00pm ET.
This webinar will provide personal property appraisers, including those who specialize in gems & jewelry, with information and suggestions on how to continue their practice during the COVID 19 pandemic. ASA Government Affairs specialist John Russell will provide information on government assistance programs for small businesses. Personal Property Chair Analee McClellan and Instructor Sandie Tropper will review the concept of and options to “Personal Inspections,” including the possibility of “virtual inspections,” further clarifying the use of the concept of “Extraordinary Assumptions.” They will also discuss the implications of market changes based on current events.
