TOP INTERNATIONAL MODEL Cindy Bruna exuded the meaning of “quiet luxury” at the opening ceremony and first premiere at the 2023 Film Festival. She took a low-key, high-end approach to jewelry that was part of a classic androgynous look that utilized a menswear houndstooth suit with cargo style pants. The added quirky touch of a feminine tulle train threw the look off a bit, but let’s not get caught up in one styling lapse when there was so much right about her opening night look.

As far as her jewelry, she wore Pomellato diamond pendants that felt like an update on dog tags. They were worn lariat style with a diamond bar at the top of the chain, and then one round pendant and one rectangular pendant hanging down from two different chains. The pendants played perfectly with the shirtless deep neckline of the suit. She also wore diamond earrings and a ring that complemented the necklace.

It was subtle and chic — a jewelry look that anyone could pull off for work or play.

Her other pieces during the rest of the festival were more serious and were all Chopard designs: long chandelier and pendant earrings as well as a statement diamond choker with sleek gowns that were in keeping with a more glamorous feeling.

As awe-inspiring as the Chopard jewels were, I’d go with the first Pomellato look, sans the tulle.

Closing With Confidence: How Bailey's Fine Jewelry Achieved Outstanding Results With Wilkerson

When Trey Bailey, President and CEO of Bailey's Fine Jewelry, decided to close the Crabtree location in Raleigh, North Carolina after 15 years, he knew the decision needed to be handled with intention and professionalism. The goal was clear: exit the location while maintaining financial strength and honoring the store's legacy. Having worked with Wilkerson successfully in the past, Bailey understood the value of their comprehensive approach. "They understood both the emotional and financial sides of the store closing sale," Trey explains. "Their reputation for professionalism, results and care made it a very easy decision." The results exceeded expectations. Wilkerson helped Bailey's sell through significant inventory while maintaining the dignity of the closing process. "They don't just run a sale, they help close a chapter in the best way possible," Bailey says, strongly recommending Wilkerson to any jeweler facing a similar transition.
