COUTURE and COUTUREtime Opening Day Kicks Off with High Excitement

(PRESS RELEASE) LAS VEGAS — The 2018 edition of COUTURE and COUTUREtime kicked off today to robust crowds, a high-level of excitement and awe-inspiring presentations of exquisite jewelry and timepiece collections. A strong sense of community permeated the show floor as retailers and exhibitors united again at the Wynn and Encore Las Vegas.

“We’re extremely pleased with the results of our opening day,” said Gannon Brousseau, Senior Vice President of Emerald Expositions and Director of COUTURE. “Our attendance was strong and our brands are all delighted with the quality of the retailers they’re meeting with and the business that’s taking place.”

“We’ve had a fantastic first day,” enthused Jim DeMattei, President of Viewpoint Showrooms. “The people who are here are here to do business; we’re looking forward to the rest of the week!”

“It’s been a great opening day,” agreed designer Victor Velyan. “We’ve already seen a lot of our existing clients and we’re meeting with new stores. We are fully booked with appointments throughout the week and so far, everyone is arriving at their appointments on time and ready to shop!”

“It’s always delightful and inspiring to be here,” said designer Polly Wales. “Whenever I’m here, I feel like I’ve made it!”

“COUTUREtime is a great platform to showcase our latest novelties and engage with those who have a shared passion for watchmaking,” noted Morgan Leynaud, Marketing Manager for Frederique Constant. “We are thrilled to be a part of COUTUREtime this year as we celebrate our own 30 year anniversary; a true milestone of innovation, craftsmanship and technology for us.”

Retailers have been continually commenting on the quality of the jewelry and timepieces they’re seeing. “COUTURE is the one place you can come and see beautiful jewels from all over the world,” explained Simon Katz, Owner of Simons Jewelers.

“We love coming here and seeing our brands every year; I just love the atmosphere here at COUTURE,” said Sanat Bhindi, Owner of Bhindi Jewelers. “When you’re spending money at a show, you want to do it in a place like COUTURE and COUTUREtime. We’re able to meet with people in a civilized environment where all of the amenities are world class.”

COUTURE runs until Monday, June 4 and COUTUREtime is open until Sunday, June 3. For more information or to request press credentials, contact Michelle Orman at Michelle@LastWordComm.com or at (646) 302-5521.
