Domino’s Pizza in Australia is running a promotion in which it will give away an engagement ring featuring rubies and diamonds.
The ring, which is shaped like a pizza slice, is “worth more than $9,000,” according to Domino’s. The Daily Mail reports that it’s a yellow and white gold piece that includes more than one carat of diamonds.
AdNews reports that it’s “topped with diamond ‘cheese’ and ‘pepperoni’ rubies.”
Allan Collins, chief marketing officer of Domino’s, was quoted saying, “Pizza is made to be shared with the ones we love, so this year we want to honour that with something really special and help create the greatest, if not the cheesiest, proposal ever.”
The company stated on its contest page that it’s “giving one lucky pizza lover the chance to make a truly dough-mantic proposal this Valentine’s Day.”
