Getty Museum Selects Evocateur for Unique Collection

(PRESS RELEASE) A few months ago, The Getty Museum contacted Barbara Ross-Innamortii, founder and creative director of Evocateur, with a special request. They wanted her to create custom jewelry designs for one of their paintings – Irises by Vincent Van Gogh.

“We were thrilled,” says Ross-Innamorati. “Not only were we honored to have been chosen by The Getty but even more excited about working with such an iconic piece of art.” Evocateur designed eight pieces — four earrings, two necklaces, one cuff and one bangle that elegantly combine the Van Gogh art with 22k gold leaf. Like all Evocateur jewelry each piece took up to seven days to create and was handcrafted in the Company’s CT studio.

These pieces are sold in the museum’s gift store and have had excellent sell-through “The Getty museum store also sells two designs we created from artwork by Georg Hoefnagel, a 16th century Flemish painter,” adds Ross-Innamorati “our Dragonfly Garden cuff necklace and earrings and our Pink Tulip cuff.”

Evocateur jewelry is truly a colorful celebration of art and fashion.
