The Diamond Studded Jewellery VBSM has 13 Diamond Jewelry manufacturers from India and 29 International buyers from USA, UK, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon and Algeria.

Suresh Kumar, joint secretary, MoC&I, Govt. of India said, “Virtual Buyer-Seller Meet has been a very successful format, especially during this pandemic. This initiative has unlocked manifold opportunities by reaching out to buyers from not only the traditionally strong export markets like the USA, UK, Europe, ME and Hong Kong/China, but also non-traditional ones such as Latin America, Eastern Europe and many more.”

Colin Shah, chairman, GJEPC said, “The demand for diamond jewelry over Christmas, Chinese New Year and Valentine’s Day was better than expected. And I believe the upward trend would further get traction in the coming months as there is ease in covid crisis. The 6 VBSMs we organised during the pandemic last year were very successful. Organising the 7th VBSM for Diamond Studded Jewellery, and following it with Loose diamonds and platinum jewelry, we would like to continue to connect buyers and sellers through this format as there are still travel restrictions. I believe, VBSMs will remain to be an effective way for conducting and exploring new business opportunities.”

Mr. Dilip Shah, convener, Exhibitions International Exhibitions said, “India, being the preferred destination for sourcing the gem and jewelry, and as the Covid restrictions are eased in most parts of the world, buyers look forward to us for their inventory needs. And I believe, as there are still travel restrictions, Virtual Buyer Seller Meet is an ideal way to connect buyers and sellers from the comfort of home/office.”

Manufacturers participating at the Diamond Studded Jewellery VBSM are Savio Jewellery, Tanvirkumar & CO., Illusion Solitaire Diamond Jewellery LLP; Diamond Insights; Gurjar Gems PVT. LTD.; Uni Design Jewellery PVT. LTD; Asian Star CO. LTD.; GNS Jewellery; Sunshine Corporation; Karma Enterprises; K.G.K. Creations (INDIA) PVT. LTD.; Shankar Jewels LTD; and D. Navinchandra Jewels.
