Growing Categories and Consumer Concerns are Focus of Plumb Club June Podcasts

(PRESS RELEASE) NEW YORK — The educational Plumb Club monthly podcast postings for June have just been added to the learning library. The June podcasts focus on two areas that continue to grow within the jewelry industry, the increasing importance of ecommerce to total retail sales and the rising awareness and consumer concern about social responsibility and ethical production. Retailers will get an in-depth understanding about why each is important to their business, along with strategies and tips on how both can augment sales.

Outsource Your Ecommerce: With online representing an ever-growing part of total sales, how can a retailer maximize this increasingly important sector? On behalf of Plumb Club Member EMA Jewelry, Cheryl Kremkow speaks with Karen Weiss, director of ecommerce for EMA, to discuss practical strategies and tools that will improve a retailers ecommerce marketing, merchandising, fulfillment and returns process and help them become leaders in their community.
