Atlanta Jewelry Store Employee Shoots Dead Would-Be Robber

Suspect shot three times before collapsing outside of the store.

A would-be robber who entered the Cachet Jewelry store in the Buckhead district of Atlanta was fatally shot by an employee on Wednesday afternoon, WSB-TV Atlanta reports. According to a witness who spoke with the news outlet, the suspect allegedly pulled a gun on the store owner, whose two sons were present at the time of the incident. One of the sons then shot the suspect three times, including once in the neck, before the suspect collapsed in front of the shop. The son is not expected to face any charges in the shooting.
