HOW eGRADING™ WILL CHANGE THE WAY YOU SELL DIAMONDS

From customized reports to the diamond’s journey from rough to polished, Sarine gives jewelers an exciting new way to brand their business.

Sarine’s new eGrading™ technology uses artificial intelligence to transform diamond grading from art to science. But more importantly, it can also transform the diamond selling experience, with dynamic new diamond quality reports that make the customer experience more exciting. Plus, these high-tech interactive digital reports can be customized and branded with your store name, promoting your diamond expertise.

From mine to store, Sarine’s eGrading™ technology can transform the way jewelers brand their diamonds — and their business.

“Sarine’s technology really can change the way that you sell diamonds,” explains Matthew Tratner, Sarine general manager and vice president for North America. “The diamonds come out of the manufacturing process, and they’re already fully graded and traced from their origin,” he says. “All that data is available digitally to you and your customers under your brand name. That’s your name on the diamond. So that relationship extends past when the customer leaves your store. Sarine eGrading™ gives that branding opportunity back to you, the retailer.”

Creating a customized private label diamond report is easy. You provide Sarine with your logo, your company profile, your colors and brand personality. Sarine will create a customized report for your diamonds with whatever you want to include: the 4Cs, traceability, light performance and even grading reports from other labs if you want to add them.

Sarine collects all the data on the diamond during the manufacturing process. The diamond is graded in the cloud using artificial intelligence. All that data powers a customized digital grading report that provides consumers with an exciting interactive experience over the counter.

Sarine reports can also include Diamond Journey™: complete information about where a diamond was mined, what the rough looked like and its cutting and polishing history.

Diamond manufacturers use Sarine technology to plan how to cut diamond rough and Sarine saves the three-dimensional scan of the rough with the polished diamond plan inside it. You can even print out a three-dimensional model of the rough diamond to accompany the report and to present to your customer – right alongside the cut and polished diamond – for an experience unlike any other.

“Consumers are interested in where their diamonds come from,” Tratner explains. “When a diamond comes out of the ground and the diamond miner uses Sarine technology to scan the rough at the mine, we can follow the diamond through the pipeline all the way to your store, scanning the diamond and identifying it at each step. You can tell your customers the whole story of the diamond. Diamond Journey is a great tool for retailers to really feel confident about the diamonds that they’re selling and add value for the consumer too.”

“Because what this really is about is your brand,” Tratner continues. “Yes, this new technology is amazing but that’s not where the real advantage is. The advantage is in the customization and attaching your name to the diamonds. When consumers leave your store with a diamond, it has your brand right there on the report. Sarine eGrading™ can be a real game changer for you to promote your brand and sell more diamonds.”
