AT THE 2021 ROCK and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, Jennifer Lopez and Eminem performed with LL Cool J. But before she changed into her stage clothes, she wore an ultra-chic Dolce & Gabbana pantsuit with a bra, double belt and jewels that finished off the look and spoke to her personal style. Her stylists for the event were Rob Zangardi, Mariel Haenn and Hannah Margeson, who pulled from various jewelry and accessories designers. She wears everything from different width necklaces graduated around her neck to Briony Raymond rings before she goes on stage and performs. The beauty of this look is that it has just enough edge for a rock-and-roll event without being over the top.
Personally, I love the juxtaposition of faux and fine jewelry and the mixed metals — the sparkly choker, the gold curb chain necklace and the diamond necklace worn nonchalantly together. The combination of mixed metals carries over onto her fingers in Briony Raymond’s “Sloan” rings, which are rounded and beautifully crafted. And what else would you imagine in “Jenny from the Block’s” ears when not dripping in diamonds on the red carpet than hoops, of course. These are Jennifer Fisher’s gold hoops, which are the perfect size and width for the way she is wearing her hair and for blending with the rest of the jewelry.
J.Lo is somewhat of a chameleon: She can wear the glamorous renowned house’s jewelry or street styles such name necklaces and outsized hoops and look comfortable in both types of looks, depending on the occasion. I will never forget how she appeared like a princess in the film Maid In Manhattan in one of Harry Winston’s Wreath necklaces. This is the type of styling that I believe works best for her and can easily be translated for women everywhere.
