James Avery Jewelry has opened a 53,600-square-foot production facility in Kerrville, TX, and relocated 300 employees.
The workers moved to the new Kerrville Craftsman Center from the company’s main Kerrville campus and current facility in Comfort. When fully occupied, the new building will accommodate over 500 employees.
The facilities the company had were unable to accommodate the needed increase in workers, said George Lee, executive vice president of manufacturing and product development at James Avery. Additionally, “the relocation in Kerrville will also allow us to repurpose existing buildings to support the strong growth we are experiencing throughout the company,” he said.
James Avery Jewelry is a family-owned company that operates 73 stores in six states. Its jewelry is also available in 188 Dillard’s stores in Texas and in 27 additional states, and nationally through JamesAvery.com.

The new facility is located along the banks of the Guadalupe River on 30 acres across from the Kerrville Municipal Airport on Highway 27.
