A bad day for a New York jewelry store employee got better after authorities recovered the bag containing $1 million in jewels that she left on a commuter train, the New York Post reports. According to the article, the diamond district employee, who asked not to be named, left a bag containing watches, necklaces and chains on a Metro-North train. She realized her mistake when she got to the office and rushed back to Grand Central Station, where transit police eventually brought the bag to lost and found. In the bag were individual pieces costing as much as $240,000. She didn’t tell her boss what she’d done.
